World Environment Day 2010: Switch off Hazelwood
In Melbourne, Australia, the busiest place to be is at the corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets. On one corner is Flinders Street Station, then Federation Square, then St Paul's Cathedral and then...........it has to be a pub - and a very famous one at that - Young and Jackson's. What a coup then to get your banner up on the roof line of Y&J's. 'Onya folks - get Melbourne to pressure the government to switch off dirty old Hazelwood. And a hat tip to Melbourne Indy Media Centre for pix and post.

This blog does not take Anonymous comments. Experience shows that comments cluttered with "Anonymous" are boring and people don't know whether "Anonymous" is one person or many. This is not a decision about freedom of speech. It is a decision about boring or unwillingness to be known by even a pseudonym.

Welcome back,
ReplyDeleteI hope this means that you are feeling a whole lot better.
Kind Regards
Belinda
Thank you for dropping by, Belinda. Just in the last couple of weeks, I have been feeling more consistently better but still with ups and downs. Stopped taking ALL my medication including vitamin supplements. Will try to start working some but not all minus the supplements back in next week. I am hoping that after to-day's burst I am able to get into a blogging routine again. So much I would have blogged about but haven't. Ah well, such is life in the world of old age!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't forgotten you and often think of you. We will have to catch up with a coffee - suggest my place or yours or The Green Bean in Belgrave. Hope all is and has been well with you and Andrew and The Mud Palace.
