JOHN CORBOY, SHEPPARTON - Fruit business in receivership.

Journo Mel Fyfe has Tweeted the following to-day:
Receivers take over Shep fruit business of John Corboy, key backer of Brumby Govt's foodbowl project and north-south pipeline.
The foodbowl project or - to give it its official name - NVIRP  has been controversial since its conception/inception.  The Brumby Government proceded with its implementation in spite of vehement community protest, particularly from Plug the Pipe.  I don't know what business in particular is referenced by Mel.  Perhaps more will follow.

This blog does not take Anonymous comments. Experience shows that comments cluttered with "Anonymous" are boring and people don't know whether "Anonymous" is one person or many. This is not a decision about freedom of speech. It is a decision about boring or unwillingness to be known by even a pseudonym.
