Peacemaking and pacifism are deeply embedded in the Christian tradition - although some of our brothers and sisters, particularly in the USA, do not seem to comprehend this and glorify the military and war.At the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said:
Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God.
for they shall be called the children of God.
Matthew 5:9
