There will be a short address
about the early pioneering women of Gippsland,
without them none of the places settled in Australia

We will go across the road and
honour these early Women at the Pioneer Memorial Garden
at the Foster Museum
Green, White and Purple are now commonly known as ‘Women’s Colours’
and were first used in England
at a huge Rally demanding Votes for Women.
White is for purity,
Purple for dignity, self-reverence and self-respect and
Green for hope.
PLEASE WEAR THESE COLOURS ON THE 8 MARCH
