Back in April Four Corners did a program under the title Dirty Business which highlighted illness caused by dust from the coal mines in the Upper Hunter Valley in New South Wales.

On 13 July 2010, the Department of Planning released the final Camberwell Cumulative Impacts Review consisting of: three expert reports on air quality (dust), noise, and drinking water; an additional expert report on air quality requested from several mining companies seeking to expand their operations in the vicinity of Camberwell; and a Department of Planning overview and response to the reports.
