VOICELESS MEDIA PRIZE: for he most valuable contribution in the media towards debate on the treatment of animals





Nominations opened today for the $5,000 Voiceless Media Prize which will recognise the most valuable contribution in the media towards debate on the treatment of animals.

An online nomination form should be submitted by noon on Friday 30th October 2009 for a story published since 1st November 2008 in newspapers, magazines, television, radio or online. www.voiceless.org.au/mediaprize 

The judging panel includes: J M Coetzee, Nobel Prize Winner for Literature (2003) and Voiceless Patron; The Hon Bob Carr, former Premier of NSW; Emeritus Prof David Weisbrot AM, President of the ALRC and Ondine Sherman & Brian Sherman AM, Voiceless Managing Directors.
