STORM AND PERFECT TEAM WORK DEFEATED THE EELS & BRILLIANT INDIVIDUALS

Picture from here
Please excuse Miss Eagle. She is over the moon.  She is a Rugby League girl in spite of living in Melbourne and the Melbourne Storm has defeated the Parramatta Eels to win the National Rugby League Grand Final.  Blessed boys are the  Melbourne Storm!  Thank you Craig, Cam, Billy, Greg, Cooper and Ryan and all who supported you.  I knew you could do it. You are so competent - not to mention absolutely brilliant!  But, above all, I think you played as a cohesive team - which proves that properly constructed team work can exceed individual performance.

Congratulations!
You have made us proud
in more ways than one!

  1. I too am glad the Storm won, although the rest of Robertson was supporting Nathan Hindmarsh and the Eels. Local hero phenomenon.
Gklad you posted the score, because i was out at a dinner party, and we did not watch or listen to the event.
Strangely, after the dinner, I was told that the Storm had been beaten by Parramatta.
Odd how people can get such simple and basic factual information so entirely wrong.
Is that also a metaphor for life, I wonder?
    .
Seriously, thanks for posting the result.
I am glad that Billy the Kid and Inglis both scored tries. They are the two best players in the League, in my opinion.
    Cheers
    Denis
