The May edition of Green Drinks. This month we look at the economics of the environment. What is our environment worth? Why is this important? Is the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) a good indication of a well functioning society? Are taxes and levies a good way to drive sustainable policies?
Tristan Knowles is an economist currently employed by the Australian Conservation Foundation but also is a Director of Economists at Large - a team of associate economists with a broad range of experience across economics, finance and sustainability. They specialise in environmental economics, the economics of animal welfare, tourism economics, natural resource economics and public policy analysis .

This blog does not take Anonymous comments. Experience shows that comments cluttered with "Anonymous" are boring and people don't know whether "Anonymous" is one person or many. This is not a decision about freedom of speech. It is a decision about boring or unwillingness to be known by even a pseudonym.
