The Guide to the Murray-Darling Basin Plan:
Can we talk?
Join us at The People’s Forum on Water

When?
Monday 18 October 2010, 5.15 pm for 5.30-7.30 pm
Where?
Bradley Forum, UniSA City West campus,
Hawke Building, level 5, 50-55 North Terrace

The River, Lakes and Coorong Action Group Inc. invites you to join concerned community members, artists, lawyers, Indigenous Peoples, scientists, artists, politicians, irrigators and bureaucrats as we work together to prepare a considered response to the Guide to the Murray-Darling Basin Plan.

Water is an issue for regional towns, for Adelaide, for the people around the Gulfs.

The Plan has the potential to reshape not only the way we manage water, not only the way we care for our river systems, but the very nature of Australian society.

The Forum will be an exercise in deliberative democracy
with participants who represent a range of
interests, disciplines, politics and geographic regions
from up river, around the lakes and down to the Southeast.

This blog does not take Anonymous comments. Experience shows that comments cluttered with "Anonymous" are boring and people don't know whether "Anonymous" is one person or many. This is not a decision about freedom of speech. It is a decision about boring or unwillingness to be known by even a pseudonym.
