I just wanted to put this viewpoint out there so that people, particularly in the USA, could understand how such a system works. In Australia, we hear some dreadful stories of how the American health system works for ordinary folks and poor people.Brigidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07862531789968068093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1052331249465415794.post-38058075909434061872011-11-17T15:19:46.171+11:002011-11-17T15:19:46.171+11:00Thank you so much Miss Eagle for your story! You have provided a very personalized, front line view of what your Universal Health Care(UHC) is like for the people. Yes, I agree that us Americans are stupid and uncompassionate. I don't see UHC coming to the U.S. soon. Too much fear of "big government". Too many politicians not willing to work with each other on law making. Too many businesses afraid to lose money. Too many health care and medication businesses afraid of losing money! I am convinced Australian Health Care System is the one to model after! I just wish the rest of my country's eyes could be opened like mine are.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
